About The Position

MedCare Pediatric is hiring an Occupational Therapist to provide personalized, one-on-one care that supports children’s growth and functional abilities. The role includes evaluating patients, setting tailored treatment goals, delivering therapy, and helping families reinforce those goals at home. Therapists work with interdisciplinary colleagues in a collaborative environment, with a structured schedule that allows time for individualized care and documentation. The position offers full-time Monday–Friday availability, with schedule options of four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days and flexible shifts. Compensation may be hourly, salaried, or per visit.

Requirements

Master’s degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
Texas Occupational Therapy License, or ability to obtain one before the anticipated start date.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
Experience supervising assistants is a plus.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient evaluations and create tailored treatment goals to enhance functional abilities.
Provide occupational therapy services to improve range of motion, strength, coordination, and activities of daily living.
Train and support families with techniques and strategies to reinforce therapy goals at home.
Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
Supervise assistants, as applicable.
