About The Position

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Hospitalist to provide comprehensive inpatient pediatric hospitalist coverage, including 24-hour call. The role involves attending newborn deliveries and providing neonatal care, admitting pediatric patients from the Emergency Department, managing their care, and performing daily rounds. Collaboration with nursing and support staff is essential to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Active ND license or IMLC with LOQ
• Active DEA certification
• BLS, PALS, NRP certifications
• Hospital Privileges Required
• Clean Malpractice record (dismissed cases will be considered)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient pediatric hospitalist coverage including 24-hour call.
• Attend newborn deliveries and provide neonatal care for all births.
• Admit pediatric patients from the Emergency Department and manage their care.
• Perform daily rounds on admitted pediatric patients, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
