Pediatric Hospitalist
About The Position
Our San Antonio pediatric hospitalist group is searching for a dedicated pediatric hospitalist to join our busy practice providing coverage at Methodist Children’s Hospital. This role involves caring for an average of 10-15 pediatric patients daily on hospital medicine shifts. You will work alongside experienced nurse practitioners for newborn nursery coverage, with delivery attendance not required. The position includes a mixture of day and night shifts. Night coverage is in-house from 6 PM to midnight, with home call from midnight to 6 AM. Typically, you will work shift blocks of 3-5 days, though this can be flexible if longer stretches are preferred. You will care for patients admitted to the medical/surgical floors and intermediate care unit. The hospital has PICU and NICU on site.
