Neonatal Pediatric Hospitalist
About The Position
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Neonatal Hospitalist to join our established neonatal team at Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care across the NICU and Newborn Nursery while working alongside experienced neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners in a collaborative environment. The role involves attending high-risk deliveries, providing neonatal resuscitation and stabilization, diagnosing and managing newborn medical conditions, and caring for premature and medically complex infants in conjunction with the Neonatologists. The hospital is a 292-bed facility recognized for excellence in women’s and children's services, featuring a family-centered maternity program and an advanced Level III NICU. Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Newborn airway management including intubation
- Umbilical arterial and venous catheter placement
Nice To Haves
- Experience in neonatal care preferred
Responsibilities
- Attend high-risk deliveries
