About The Position
Plans, implements, and evaluates the provision of optimal medical care to patients in the center. As a pediatric hospitalist physician, employee will diagnose and treat medical conditions, diseases and injuries of internal organ systems in pediatric hospital inpatients who do not require surgical intervention. Employee will also order and interpret laboratory tests. Treatment consists of long-term, comprehensive care. Employee will provide medical care consistent with internal medicine.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from an accredited medical school in the U.S. (or foreign equivalent).
- Active or pending Georgia medical license.
- Passed all parts of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).
- Certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
- Completion of a 3 year U.S. residency in pediatrics.
- Board eligible in pediatrics.
