About The Position
St. Louis Children's Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Dentist to join their team. This role involves outpatient, inpatient, and surgical procedures, with a focus on medically complex patients. The position requires a Pediatric Dentistry certificate from an accredited program in the U.S. or Canada and eligibility for a specialty license for pediatric dentistry. The dentist will diagnose, prevent, and treat problems with teeth or mouth tissue. The role also includes training, supervising, and evaluating clinic staff, and educating individuals and their families regarding dental health hygiene. - Pediatric Residency or Fellowship required

Responsibilities
- Observes, evaluates, and applies knowledge of dental skills to provide optimal patient care.
- Diagnoses and renders appropriate dental care to patients.
- Fulfills dental consulting requests.
- Records all procedures and pertinent information in patients record.
- Trains, supervises and evaluates the work of clinic staff.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with superiors, associates, representatives of public agencies and organizations, and private health care providers.
- Educates individuals and their families regarding dental health hygiene.
