About The Position
Centurion Health is seeking a part-time Dentist to provide healthcare services at Missouri Eastern Correctional Center (MECC) in Pacific, Missouri. The role is scheduled for 8 hours per week and provides comprehensive dental treatment to address incarcerated patients’ oral health needs, including examinations, preventive care, and corrective services. The Dentist develops, reviews, and evaluates dental treatment plans and procedures. The position is an 8-hour day shift, with no nights, holidays, or weekends. Centurion provides company-paid malpractice coverage for part-time team members.
Requirements
- Dental degree (DDS or DMD) from an accredited university.
- License to practice dentistry in Missouri.
- Must have or be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.
- Active certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use.
- Proficiency in exodontia techniques.
- Must pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
