PE Para - 25 Hours/Week - Meadow Park (Current Employees)
About The Position
Under the supervision of the Principal, the PE Para assists a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of students in a physical education classroom or outdoor environment. The position assists with preparing instructional materials and implementing lesson plans, performs routine clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel, and sets up equipment for physical education classes and sports activities. This is an internal vacancy available only to current employees of the school district. Applicants must have passed their six-month probationary period in their current position before applying.
Requirements
- Graduation from high school.
- Some experience working with children in an educational or organized learning environment.
- Must be a current employee of the school district.
- Must have passed the six-month probationary period in the current position before applying.
Nice To Haves
- Some college-level coursework in physical education, child development, and recreation is preferred.
