About The Position

Under the supervision of an assigned supervisor, performs routine custodial duties and assists with general maintenance activities at assigned District aquatic centers, District stadiums, and assigned school sites or facilities. Maintains buildings and adjacent grounds areas in a clean, orderly, and secure condition. This is an in-house vacancy available only to current employees of the Irvine Unified School District; applicants must have passed the six-month probationary period in their current position.

Requirements

• One year of experience performing building maintenance, grounds, or custodial duties, or an equivalent combination.
• Valid California Class C driver’s license.
• Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) or Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification may be required based on assignment.
• Must be a current employee of the school district and have passed the six-month probationary period in the current position.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine custodial duties at assigned District aquatic centers, District stadiums, and school sites or facilities.
• Assist with general maintenance activities.
• Maintain buildings and adjacent grounds areas in a clean, orderly, and secure condition.
