About The Position

Under the supervision of an assigned supervisor, the Custodian II performs routine custodial activities at an assigned school site or facility and maintains buildings and adjacent grounds in a clean, orderly, and secure condition. This position supports the Maintenance & Operations department. It is an in-house vacancy available only to current IUSD employees holding a permanent position who have completed their six-month probationary period. The position is 19.75 hours per week for 10 months per year, with approximate hours Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed in the attached job description, or an equivalent combination.
• Must be a current IUSD employee holding a permanent position.
• Must have passed the six-month probationary period in the current position.
