About The Position

BAYADA is recruiting a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide one-on-one personal care, household support, and companionship to patients in Wilmington and Leland. Following a written plan of care from a registered nurse, the caregiver helps adults remain safe and independent at home. The role includes support with activities of daily living, light household tasks, meals, exercises, mobility, and medication reminders. Previous home health or patient-care experience is welcome but not required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Follow a written plan of care developed by a registered nurse.
• Provide personal care, household support, and companion care to help adults remain safe and independent at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and bed-making.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Assist with range-of-motion exercises.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers, including use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
• Provide compassionate, reliable, and high-quality patient care.
