About The Position

Interim HealthCare is hiring a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver in Haralson County, Georgia. The role provides client-centered, in-home support to seniors so they can live safely at home. The position offers flexible scheduling and work-life balance, with 1:1 aide-to-client ratios and online training with opportunities to earn CEUs. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Personal Care Assistant Certificate in Georgia; Interim HealthCare can assist with certification.
Current hands-on CPR and First Aid certification.
Current TB screening completed within the past 12 months.
Valid Georgia driver’s license, auto insurance, and a personal vehicle for transportation.
Compassionate and helpful nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

One year of experience in a healthcare role is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and support to seniors so they can live safely at home.
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
Help clients with ambulation, transferring, and range-of-motion exercises.
Provide medication reminders, document clients’ conditions, and notify a supervisor of concerns.
Maintain a safe home environment by ensuring pathways are unobstructed.
Participate in activities clients enjoy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.
