About The Position

Interim HealthCare is hiring a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver in Haralson County, Georgia. The role provides personalized, home-based care to help seniors live safely at home. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Personal Care Assistant Certificate in Georgia; Interim HealthCare can assist with certification.
Current hands-on CPR and First Aid certification.
Current TB screening completed within the past 12 months.
Valid Georgia driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle for transportation.
Compassionate, helpful nature and good communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

One year of experience in a healthcare role is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and support to help seniors live safely at home.
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
Help clients with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
Provide medication reminders, document clients’ conditions, and notify a supervisor of concerns.
Maintain a safe home environment, including keeping pathways unobstructed.
Participate in activities clients enjoy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.
