About The Position
BAYADA is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), caregivers, Personal Care Aides (PCAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) to provide compassionate, reliable, one-on-one support to clients in their homes in Columbia, Missouri, and surrounding areas. The work focuses on helping clients with activities of daily living and supporting them in living their best lives at home. Hours vary by location. The employer is currently staffing part-time hours up to full-time hours, as well as PRN and fill-in shifts, with potential to build additional hours. Scheduling is flexible, and the company aims to match employees with opportunities near their homes. The stated hourly rates are $16.00 for DSP/PCA/HHA/caregiver roles and $17.00 for active Missouri CNAs.
Requirements
- Active Missouri CNA credential for the $17.00-per-hour CNA rate.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living.
- Provide light housekeeping and home management, including laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
- Support range-of-motion activities and exercises.
- Assist with transfers and use mechanical lifting devices.
- Provide oral feeding assistance.
- Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Assist clients with ambulation.
- Provide medication assistance.
