Requirements

  • Associates degree or 4-year degree in an information systems-related major.
  • One or more years of experience in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for networking technologies for administrating and managing the setup, maintenance, and repairing of network systems and system components.
  • Resolve and troubleshoot malfunctions related to networks or network components.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions with phone and camera systems.
  • Apply systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications.
  • Design, document, test, create, or modify computer programs related to machine operating systems.
  • Develop and/or implement efficient and cost-effective software solutions for specific problems.
  • Prepare manuals and user guides for training and user reference.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day software and hardware problems in a timely manner.
  • Recommend new software and hardware systems to management, working with UHS-BH Corp IT on research, bids, and purchase orders.
  • Upgrade software solutions and hardware systems as needed.
  • Maintain, monitor, and coordinate the use and installation of software and hardware components according to company policy.
  • Update knowledge of the latest programming techniques and technologies.
  • Continuously work toward improving system performance.
  • Collaborate with management and other teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Serve as the facility liaison with Corporate IT.
  • Provide PC network support for the user community.
  • Function as a help desk for the facility.
  • Install and troubleshoot PC equipment.
  • Resolve users' software-related issues within the scope of assigned security protocols as authorized by BH-CORP-IT.
  • Maintain software/hardware inventories.
  • Document all PC systems and software.
  • Participate in monthly IT Webinars.
  • Assist with special projects.
  • Perform routine maintenance on PC equipment.
  • Provide first-level support for phone systems.
  • Provide first-level support for closed-circuit television systems.
  • Provide off-hours support as needed.
  • Order and update company cell phones.
  • Provide first-level support for network printers.
