About The Position

This IT PC Technician I role offers hands-on experience installing and configuring PCs, laptops, printers, and telephones for approximately 450+ users. The position requires Windows operating system experience, basic networking knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, printers and computer hardware.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Windows operating system experience
• Basic networking knowledge

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree in IT or related field preferred
• CompTIA A+ (or working toward certification)

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Install and update software applications and operating systems.
• Respond to basic helpdesk tickets and user inquiries.
• Assist with hardware replacements and basic repairs.
• Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets.
• Escalate more complex issues to higher-level technicians or system administrators.
