About The Position

This IT PC Technician I role is responsible for providing hands-on experience installing and configuring PCs, laptops, printers, and telephones for approximately 450+ users. The role requires Windows operating system experience and basic networking knowledge, along with the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues. The position is located at our Branch at 2605 Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT, with a Monday - Friday work schedule.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, printers and computer hardware.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Windows operating system experience
• Basic networking knowledge

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree in IT or related field
• CompTIA A+ (or working toward certification)

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Install and update software applications and operating systems.
• Respond to basic helpdesk tickets and user inquiries.
• Assist with hardware replacements and basic repairs.
• Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets.
• Escalate more complex issues to higher-level technicians or system administrators.
