About The Position
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Telephone Operator to provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to guests over the telephone and during check-in and check-out, while helping maximize room revenue and occupancy. The role supports smooth communication between guests and resort departments by promptly and professionally handling calls, providing accurate information, and directing requests to the appropriate teams. It is described as an hourly wage role.
Requirements
- Computer experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Previous hospitality or related experience helpful.
Responsibilities
- Distribute guest requests to the proper departments.
- Approach encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Obtain necessary information when taking room, cabana, and bungalow reservations and follow the rate-quoting scenario.
- Stay informed about resort rates, packages, and promotions.
- Maintain proper operation of the PBX console and ensure applicable standards are met.
