About The Position

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a PBX Operator to join the front office team at The Opus in Westchester. This temporary role serves as the first point of contact for guests calling by telephone. The operator provides friendly, efficient service and helps maintain high service standards by responding to guest needs and coordinating with hotel departments. The anticipated compensation is $25.74 per hour for applicants working in NYC or New York; the salary offered may depend on factors including experience, education, and work location.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls from external and in-house guests.
• Communicate guest needs to the appropriate department and follow up to confirm requests have been handled.
• Take room service orders.
• Handle guest complaints by researching issues, developing effective solutions, and negotiating outcomes.
• Listen to guests and help resolve problems such as price conflicts and insufficient heating or air conditioning.
