About The Position

The PBX Operator professionally and efficiently answers and connects calls to the requested areas. The role assists incoming callers in a professional manner and supports the daily operations of the Telecommunications Department at HCA Florida Westside Hospital.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in hospital telecommunications.
• Computer skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with business contacts, staff, and patients.
• Ability to relay information accurately.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer and connect calls to the areas requested, professionally and efficiently.
• Assist incoming callers in a professional manner.
• Assist with the daily operations of the Telecommunications Department.
