About The Position

The PBX Operator / Receptionist answers the switchboard and overhead pages, greets people, and directs them to the appropriate departments. The role monitors hospital alarms and requires awareness of the policies and procedures for all hospital emergency codes. The operator must be able to communicate with the population served.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required (effective 4/1/14 for all new hires).
• Previous experience in an office or as a receptionist.
• Effective written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize needs to meet required timelines.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous PBX experience.
• Customer service experience.
