About The Position

The Funds manages and administers benefits for thousands of Union members working in New York City's hotel industry. The organization is seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor who supports its mission and will contribute to the organization.

The Payroll Supervisor oversees the payroll function, ensuring timely and accurate processing in accordance with organizational policies and federal, state, and local regulations. The role provides customer service and develops solutions to payroll-related issues, works with the payroll processor, 401(k) administrator, and Workers' Compensation and disability carriers, and addresses payroll matters with employees at all levels. The supervisor also supervises the Paymaster and keeps daily workflow processes current.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of payroll processing experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• Thorough understanding of ADP Workforce Now, including Reports & Analytics.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in accordance with organizational policies and federal, state, and local regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and develop solutions to payroll-related issues.
• Work with the payroll processor, 401(k) administrator, and Workers' Compensation and disability carriers on a variety of issues.
• Interact with employees at all levels regarding payroll-related issues.
• Supervise the Paymaster and ensure daily workflow processes stay current.
