About The Position

The Payroll Manager oversees Adena Health’s timekeeping and payroll functions, including the information systems that support them. The manager works with Human Resources to determine system-wide pay practices and ensure they are properly implemented in the timekeeping and payroll systems. The role supervises staff responsible for governmental compliance related to tax withholding and garnishments, as well as timely required reporting to applicable governmental entities and agencies. The manager also develops and models a customer-service culture for Adena Health caregivers. The position has no direct patient contact but provides access to confidential employee and organizational information. The role is based in the ARMC/Chillicothe department and is listed as full-time, weekday day shift, with a remote opportunity. Salary is based on years of experience.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Accounting, or a similar field.
Certified Payroll Professional credential from the American Payroll Association (PayrollOrg).
3–5 years of payroll management experience at an employer with 2,500 or more employees.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Oracle Fusion Payroll/HCM and/or UKG Timekeeping.
