Payroll Administrator - Part-Time

About The Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis. If you’re the kind of person who finds peace in a perfectly balanced ledger and actually enjoys the nuances of tax compliance, we want to talk to you. Your primary focus will be ensuring our people are paid accurately and on time using ADP Workforce Now (WFN). Since this is a part-time role, we need someone who can hit the ground running with minimal hand-holding on the software side.

Requirements

  • Proven, hands-on experience specifically with ADP Workforce Now.
  • Accuracy: A "measure twice, cut once" mentality. You catch the typos before the checks go out.
  • Discretion: High level of integrity when handling sensitive compensation data.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of payroll taxes, wage and hour laws (FLSA), and year-end processing (W-2s).
  • Communication: Ability to explain complex payroll or tax concepts to employees in a clear, friendly manner.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end semi-monthly payroll.
  • Maintain employee profiles, update tax jurisdictions, and manage deductions (benefits, 401k, garnishments) within the ADP ecosystem.
  • Ensure all payroll operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Generate and analyze payroll reports (labor distribution, PTO accruals, etc.) for the finance team.
  • Act as the go-to person for employee inquiries regarding paystubs, tax elections, and timing.
