About The Position

The Payment Sales internship is a 10-week paid program based in Minneapolis or Chicago for students interested in sales, relationship management, financial services, and the payments industry. Interns work alongside experienced sales professionals and support clients ranging from small and medium-sized businesses to multinational corporations and financial institutions. The program builds foundational payments knowledge and provides hands-on experience supporting client relationships and developing solutions to business needs. Interns develop business and product acumen through project work, on-the-job learning, mentorship, and peer and advisor engagement. They learn how sales teams collaborate with product, analytics, marketing, implementation, risk, and relationship-management functions to deliver value. Interns own projects addressing business opportunities or customer needs and present their findings and recommendations to stakeholders. The role is hybrid, with interns working at a listed U.S. Bank location at least three days per week and having flexibility in their work location on other working days. The internship is approximately 40 hours per week.
