About The Position

This is a full-time position with scheduled weekly hours of 40. The Payment Poster/Biller works under the supervision of the Revenue Cycle Manager and Lead Biller. Responsibilities include being accessible to physicians, staff, and patients regarding billing questions, ensuring timely completion of all billing functions, and developing billing goals. The role involves posting payments received electronically and by mail, working various queues related to payments, and performing other tasks as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of medical billing experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with attention to detail
• Competency with ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines
• Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation
