Requirements

  • One year of customer service work experience, upon hire
  • Healthcare-related experience, upon hire
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Genuine desire to make a difference in patients' lives

Responsibilities

  • Register patients
  • Conduct routine insurance eligibility verifications
  • Handle and reconcile payments
  • Process referral orders and/or pre-authorizations
  • Coordinate appointments and ancillary services
  • Respond to patient questions regarding routine billing and insurance matters
  • Uphold patient dignity and confidentiality
