About The Position
The Patient Sitter works in the Float Pool at Resurrection Medical Center and is responsible for sitting with and observing patients and their surroundings to promote safety and help prevent possible injuries. The One to One Patient Observer assists the Registered Nurse with non-nursing tasks within the scope of the observer’s training and experience. The position is full-time, scheduled for nights from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. on 12-hour shifts, in Chicago, Illinois.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire and maintain current certification.

- Previous healthcare experience.
