About The Position
The Patient Sitter works in the Float Pool at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. The role is scheduled for nights, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., in 12-hour shifts. The Patient Sitter observes patients and their surrounding environment to promote safety and prevent possible injuries. The One to One Patient Observer also assists the Registered Nurse with non-nursing tasks within the scope of the observer's training and experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current BLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintained thereafter.
Nice To Haves
- Previous healthcare experience preferred.
