About The Position

Deaconess Illinois is seeking compassionate and attentive Patient Sitters to provide one-on-one support and observation for patients who need additional assistance. Requirements

• Current Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Previous healthcare experience is welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous observation and support for patients requiring close monitoring.
• Help maintain a safe, calm, and comfortable environment.
• Promptly report changes in patient condition or behavior to nursing staff.
• Preserve patient dignity, privacy, and respect at all times.
