IL CNA/Patient Sitter - PRN Nights
About The Position
Deaconess Illinois is seeking compassionate, attentive individuals to provide one-on-one support and observation for patients who need additional assistance. The Patient Sitter helps ensure patients’ safety, comfort, and well-being by offering companionship, maintaining a safe environment, and supporting patients and the healthcare team. This role is a rewarding opportunity for individuals interested in helping others and gaining healthcare experience. The position is PRN on nights. Full-time, part-time, and supplemental positions, as well as day, evening, and night shifts, are also mentioned as available options.
Requirements
- Current Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous healthcare experience is welcomed but not required; training is available for compassionate, dependable individuals eager to learn.

Responsibilities
- Provide continuous observation and support for patients requiring close monitoring.
- Help maintain a safe, calm, and comfortable environment.
