By providing patients and internal and external stakeholders with a consistent, efficient, and easy experience, you’ll help ensure that patients at The Oregon Clinic Gastroenterology South Clinic receive the highest value care tailored to their needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of work experience, preferably in a medical office, is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of previous experience in Surgery or other complex scheduling is preferred.
  • Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with insurance and referral processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask.
  • Excellent attendance and work ethic.
  • Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.
  • A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.
  • Must live in Newberg, Tualatin, Portland, or SW Washington.

Nice To Haves

  • Specialty care GI experience is a plus!
  • Epic experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for scheduling our clinic tests and in-office procedures.
  • Maintaining and processing our services and procedure work-queue requests.
  • Outbound phone calls and incoming return phone calls.
  • Coverage for our Care Team scheduler.
  • Obtaining and completing insurance information.
  • Updating registration and EMR records as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
