About The Position

The Patient Services Specialist - Journey Level performs core front-office functions with increased independence and efficiency and is capable of performing all aspects of the Associate Patient Services Specialist role. The position supports patient registration, appointment scheduling for routine and basic healthcare services, and general clerical duties. As a member of the care team, the specialist demonstrates compassionate service, effective communication, and operational excellence in support of Providence patients and their families.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of medical office or related healthcare experience, or 6 months of experience as a Providence employee in an Associate PSS position.

Responsibilities

• Register patients.
• Schedule appointments for routine and basic healthcare services.
• Perform general clerical duties.
• Support the care team through compassionate service, effective communication, and operational excellence.
• Perform all aspects of the Associate Patient Services Specialist role.
