About The Position
The General Surgery Clinic at UW Medical Center – Montlake offers a range of evaluation and surgical treatment services. Our services include the evaluation and general surgical treatments of cancers and other diseases; treatment of conditions of the colon, rectum and anus; and hernia care. Our experienced, board-certified physicians and medical staff treat patients as individuals, each with his or her own health needs and life goals.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent AND One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience OR An equivalent combination of education/experience
Responsibilities
- Providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging
- Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments
- Obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information
- Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery
- Other duties as requested
