About The Position

Join The Oregon Clinic as a full-time Patient Services Specialist in our Plastic Surgery East Clinic located in Northeast Portland. This phone-based role is responsible for providing patients and stakeholders with a consistent, efficient, and easy experience, ensuring patients receive the highest value care tailored to their needs. You will use strong customer service and communication skills to manage patient check-ins and check-outs, inbound referrals, appointment scheduling, multi-line phone systems, insurance information, and cosmetic patient inquiries.

Requirements

Minimum of one (1) year of work experience, preferably in a medical office.
Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is strongly preferred.
Strong customer service skills and experience are preferred.
Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask.
Familiarity with insurance and referral processes.
Excellent attendance and work ethic.
Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.
A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.

Specialty care, Plastic Surgery experience is a plus!
Epic experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

Checking in and out new/established patients.
Managing inbound referrals and scheduling patient appointments.
Answering and directing calls on a multi-line phone system.
Obtaining and completing insurance information.
Handling incoming cosmetic patient inquiries and ensuring timely, appropriate scheduling.
Performing additional administrative and support tasks as needed.
