Patient Services Representative - Heart & Vascular
About The Position
The Patient Services Representative supports patient-facing operations at Lifepoint Health’s Heart & Vascular location. The role facilitates patient check-in and check-out, schedules appointments, manages phone calls and messages, collects co-pays and past-due balances at the time of service, verifies patient demographic information, and performs insurance verification. The position is full-time on weekdays, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with an hourly range of $14.41–$17.79. Sovah Health is a regional health care delivery system with hospital campuses in Danville and Martinsville, each with a 24/7 emergency room, outpatient imaging center, and more than 20 primary and specialty care physician clinics. The Danville location is also a teaching hospital for medical students and physician residents specializing in family and internal medicine.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a medical office setting.
- Previous experience with insurance.
Responsibilities
