About The Position

PT Solutions Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to support patients, providers, and insurers and help ensure a seamless care journey. The coordinator manages administrative and communication processes, including insurance verification, benefits management, authorizations, physician referrals, scheduling, payment reconciliation, and collections. The role requires maintaining relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments while following HIPAA guidelines. This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The pay range is $18–$22 per hour, with compensation depending on factors such as background, experience, and work location, and the opportunity for salary growth within the position.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED at minimum; submission of a diploma for the highest level of education obtained is required.
1–2 years of customer service experience; healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines.
Follow appropriate processes for insurance verification and/or benefits management.
Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization.
Collect over-the-counter payments and reconcile all charges weekly and monthly.
Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments.
Coordinate physician referrals and optimize schedules to help patients access care.
