About The Position

At PT Solutions Physical Therapy, the Patient Services Coordinator is a key link between patients, providers, and insurers, helping make the care journey seamless, efficient, and supportive. The role owns administrative and communication processes that keep the practice moving, including verifying insurance coverage, securing authorizations, coordinating physician referrals, and optimizing schedules so patients can access care efficiently.

The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pay is listed at $19–$21 per hour, with the range dependent on factors including background, experience, and work location.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED at minimum; submission of the diploma for the highest level of education obtained is required.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience.

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines.
• Follow appropriate processes for insurance verification and/or benefits management.
• Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization.
• Collect over-the-counter payments and reconcile all charges weekly and monthly.
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments.
