About The Position
The Patient Service Specialist manages both the patient-facing and business aspects of an outpatient physical therapy center. The role helps provide patients with an exceptional experience from the front desk, including before they enter the treatment area and as they leave. The position is full-time, located in West Florissant, Missouri, and is scheduled Monday through Friday for eight-hour days between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Compensation is $18.00 per hour, with increases based on experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.

- Healthcare experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and register patients, explain what to expect during their visit, and provide information about their next appointment at checkout.
- Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
- Communicate regularly with insurance companies, translation companies, market operational leaders, and the business development team.
- Collect patient co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.
