About The Position

The Patient Service Representative has primary responsibility for greeting, instructing, and directing patients; answering phones; and scheduling patients. The representative serves as a liaison between patients and medical support staff.

CarolinaEast Health System provides care across the Coastal Carolina region through a 350-bed medical center, outpatient services, and physician practices across four counties. CarolinaEast Physicians includes more than 150 physicians and mid-level providers in a range of specialties, including Gastroenterology.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Word processing and computer experience.
• Previous experience in a healthcare medical clinic setting or customer service.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
