The PSR supports the ambulatory care team by providing efficient, high-quality service to patients seeking appointments or information about tests and procedures, bills and charges, referrals, and other matters. The role also ensures billing information for patients and payers is entered at the time of service, follows up on missing information, and upholds medical-record accuracy and timeliness standards. The position is based at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Offices, Oncology Clinic, Suite 980, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The office environment involves significant patient and public contact and may include exposure to ill or contagious patients. Travel may be required, with exposure to weather and road conditions. The role requires frequent transitions between sitting and standing, extended periods of sitting or standing, mobility throughout the workday, operation of necessary equipment, fine-motor keyboard use, and the ability to communicate clearly. It involves frequent lifting up to 10 pounds, occasional lifting of 20 pounds or more, and pushing or pulling up to 50 pounds with assistance.
