About The Position

Patient Service Representatives (PSRs) are the first point of contact for patients, family members, and caregivers visiting Franciscan Physician Network offices. They communicate information, directions, and support to customers and collaborate with providers, management, and clinical staff to coordinate patient schedules and provide administrative support. The role includes compassionately discussing patients’ copayment, prepayment, and outstanding balance responsibilities.

The position answers incoming calls, responds to inquiries, schedules appointments, or directs callers to appropriate staff. It uses an electronic medical records system, collects and applies patient payments and account adjustments, balances daily encounter forms and cash drawers, and performs additional administrative tasks based on the practice specialty. The role is located at Stones Crossing Medical Campus in Greenwood, Indiana, and requires travel never or rarely.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of healthcare experience.

Responsibilities
