About The Position

Granger Medical Clinic is hiring a full-time bilingual Patient Service Representative for its West Jordan Dermatology clinic. The role works closely with patients, physicians, and support staff to help provide patient care. As a first point of contact, the representative is expected to provide courteous service and communicate effectively. Spanish speaking is required. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Must speak Spanish.
• Must be able to read, understand, and communicate in English.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Typing and keyboarding skills.
• Must be a team player who enjoys working with people.
• High school graduate or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Previous medical billing or office experience is preferred but not required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients presenting for medical or other services in a courteous manner.
• Answer telephones professionally.
• Schedule appointments in accordance with established procedures.
• Communicate professionally, verbally and in writing, with physicians, clinic staff, and patients about appointment scheduling and other needs.
• Record demographic information needed to contact patients and/or bill insurance carriers for services provided.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
