About The Position

The Patient Service Representative Clinic supports the patient experience at Howell Allen Neurosurgery in Nashville, Tennessee. The role welcomes visitors and guides them through check-in and check-out while maintaining accurate, up-to-date records. It manages schedules, confirms appointments, and handles medical record requests to coordinate care between patients and the clinical team. The representative also verifies insurance authorizations and precertifications, assists with co-payments and billing questions, submits daily service charges, reconciles deposits, and provides clerical support to keep the office organized and welcoming.

Requirements

• High school diploma equivalency or one year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
• Required professional licensure or certification may be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors professionally and guide them through check-in and check-out.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Manage schedules and confirm appointments.
• Handle medical record requests and support coordination between patients and the clinical team.

• Help patients with co-payments and billing questions.
