About The Position
This role is for a Patient Service Representative in a clinic setting, specifically float staffing in the Murfreesboro, TN area. The position is PRN (as needed) and operates on day shifts. The representative will be responsible for championing the patient experience, navigating the patient's care journey, providing financial clarity, and ensuring accuracy and flow within the clinic's operations.
Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Provide a warm, professional welcome for every visitor, guiding them through the check-in/out process and ensuring their records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Proactively manage schedules, confirm appointments, and handle medical record requests.
- Assist patients by verifying insurance authorizations and precertifications, and help them navigate co-payments and billing questions.
- Submit daily service charges, reconcile deposits, and provide essential clerical support.
