About The Position

This role is for a Patient Service Representative at a clinic within Saint Thomas Medical Partners, specializing in Neurology. The position is full-time and operates on a day schedule. The representative will be responsible for championing the patient experience by providing a warm and professional welcome, guiding patients through check-in/out processes, and ensuring accurate records. They will also manage patient care journeys by handling schedules, confirming appointments, and processing medical record requests. Financial clarity will be provided by verifying insurance authorizations and precertifications, and assisting with co-payments and billing inquiries. The role also involves ensuring accuracy and flow by submitting daily service charges, reconciling deposits, and providing essential clerical support to maintain an organized and welcoming environment.

Requirements

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

Provide a warm, professional welcome for every visitor, guiding them through the check-in/out process and ensuring their records are accurate and up-to-date.
