About The Position

US Fertility has an immediate opening for a Patient Service Coordinator at Fertility Centers of Illinois in River North, Chicago, Illinois. The role supports patients and the practice through account maintenance, appointment scheduling, customer service, and consultation about insurance benefits, coverage, and financial options. The position offers the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization and work closely with patients and care teams. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Central Time, with a weekend rotation as needed from 6:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Compensation is $22 to $23 per hour, commensurate with experience. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

At least 1 year of applicable work experience.
High school diploma.
Extensive knowledge of insurance and benefits, medical terminology, and medical billing.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Attention to detail.
Computer savvy.
High level of customer service.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in an OB/GYN office.

Responsibilities

Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal, financial, and insurance information.
Assess patients’ minimum needs and schedule accordingly to support patient satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization.
Schedule appointments.
Address customer and patient issues and ensure effective short-term and long-term resolution.
Provide timely feedback to the practice about service failures or patient concerns.
Consult with patients about benefits, coverage, and financial options.
Greet patients and visitors and provide a high level of customer service.
