About The Position

The Patient Services Coordinator (PSC) is a front-line representative who provides customer service to families, staff, and providers in person and by phone. The role promotes a positive patient and family experience by answering questions warmly, promptly, and accurately. The PSC ensures efficient patient registration and check-in; obtains accurate and complete demographic and financial information and required consents; supports patient care in the clinics; and provides administrative support to the clinical area. The PSC also serves as a technology resource for the clinics.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of customer service experience.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, or hospital technology systems.
Ability to communicate and interact respectfully and professionally.
Ability to contribute to a positive clinic teamwork environment.
Ability to perform front desk clinic functions.
HIPAA knowledge and ability to handle confidential information.
Prompt and reliable attendance.
Ability to apply logical thinking to problem solve.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.

Nice To Haves

Post-secondary education.
One year of experience in a medical office setting.
Knowledge of medical insurance.
