About The Position

The Patient Service Coordinator (PSC) is a pivotal front-line team member who provides exemplary customer service to families, staff, and providers, both in person and by phone. The PSC promotes a positive patient and family experience by answering questions warmly, promptly, and correctly. The role is responsible for efficient and orderly patient registration and check-in, obtaining accurate and complete patient demographic and financial information, and collecting required consents. The PSC supports patient care in the clinics, provides administrative support to the clinical area, and serves as a clinic technology resource.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
One year of customer service experience required.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, or hospital technology systems.
Ability to communicate and interact respectfully and professionally.
Ability to contribute to a positive clinic teamwork environment.
Ability to perform front desk clinic functions.
Knowledge of HIPAA and ability to handle confidential information.
Prompt and reliable attendance.
Ability to apply logical thinking to solve problems.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.

Nice To Haves

Post-secondary education preferred.
One year of medical office setting experience preferred.
Knowledge of medical insurance preferred.
