Patient Scheduling Representative - Family Medicine
About The Position
Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin as a Patient Scheduling Representative in Family Medicine. This full-time, 100% FTE position involves scheduling appointments via phone, in-person, or electronic correspondence. You will handle incoming calls from patients and their families, make outgoing calls to schedule appointments, and coordinate with clinic staff to ensure timely and appropriate patient care. Requirements
- No minimum education required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 6 months previous experience in an office or customer service environment Required
Nice To Haves
- Associate's Degree
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or other related field
- Previous experience working in healthcare
- Previous experience scheduling of patients
- Previous experience with answering phones, greeting clients and customers in person
Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments via phone, in-person or electronic correspondence.
- Take incoming phone calls from patients and their families to assist them with their appointment scheduling needs.
- Make outgoing phone calls to patients to schedule their appointments.
- Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure that patients receive appropriate care in a timely manner.
